Virtuals Launches AI Agent on Ronin Blockchain With JAIHOZ Token
Discover how Ronin Blockchain collaborates with Virtuals Protocol to launch AI agent Jaihoz and $JAIHOZ token, expanding use cases beyond Web3 gaming.
Blockchain Collaboration Brings JAIHOZ Token to Ronin and Base
Ronin, a blockchain designed for Web3 gaming, has partnered with Virtuals Protocol to integrate an artificial intelligence (AI) agent into its ecosystem. This collaboration introduces the $JAIHOZ token and aims to expand Ronin’s use cases beyond gaming by leveraging the capabilities of decentralized AI.
Virtuals Protocol and Jaihoz
Virtuals Protocol specializes in merging AI with decentralized frameworks to simplify the creation and deployment of AI agents. These agents can operate on-chain or within digital environments, taking on roles such as social media influencers, on-chain traders, or in-game non-playable characters (NPCs).
The partnership’s centerpiece is Jaihoz, an AI agent inspired by Jeffrey Zirlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis, the studio behind Axie Infinity. Designed to reflect elements of Zirlin’s online presence, Jaihoz incorporates additional autonomy and personality, enabling it to interact with users on Ronin’s platform and social media. While this innovation garners significant attention, the tangible benefits of such AI-driven interactions are yet to be fully realized.
$JAIHOZ Tokenomics
A key aspect of this initiative is the introduction of the $JAIHOZ token. Distributed across the Ronin and Base blockchains, $JAIHOZ has a total supply of 1 billion tokens. To drive adoption, an airdrop was conducted for over 100,000 wallets, targeting the Ronin and Virtuals communities.
Eligibility for the airdrop was determined by specific snapshot dates, focusing on holders of designated non-fungible tokens (NFTs) such as Cyberkongz Genkai and Moki Genesis, along with Ronin stakers and guild participants. While this strategy aims to engage these groups, its broader effectiveness in fostering long-term engagement with the AI agent initiative remains uncertain.
Expanding Ronin’s Ecosystem
This partnership aligns with Ronin’s broader ambition to diversify its blockchain’s use cases by early 2025. Although initially conceived for Web3 gaming, Ronin seeks to attract innovative blockchain projects beyond the gaming sector. Virtuals Protocol’s focus on AI agents is a pivotal part of this vision. However, the success of these efforts and the realization of anticipated benefits remain speculative.
