El Salvador Inks Cloud Services Agreement With Rumble

The government of El Salvador has recently signed a significant agreement with Rumble, a Canadian video and cloud services provider, to support the country's growing technological infrastructure. Under this partnership, Rumble will deliver various cloud computing services, including cloud storage, databases, load balancers, and Kubernetes integration to El Salvador.

A Strategic Collaboration

This deal follows a meeting in September between Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski and Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, arranged by Bitcoin Office Director Stacy Herbert. Pavlovski emphasized the importance of this milestone, noting that it signals Rumble's services are now trusted for crucial governmental data and computing needs.

Pavlovski also highlighted the growing global trend of countries seeking independence from the major tech giants, asserting that this deal further supports Rumble’s mission to offer unbiased services free from the influence of Big Tech.

Values of Freedom and Innovation

Rumble’s Stacy Herbert celebrated the collaboration, stressing how El Salvador’s embrace of freedom, innovation, and prosperity aligns with Rumble’s values. She expressed excitement for a long-term partnership and its potential to foster mutual growth.

Shared Bitcoin Vision

Rumble and El Salvador have also forged a shared commitment to Bitcoin, a key aspect of the country’s economic strategy. In 2021, El Salvador became the first nation to make Bitcoin legal tender, and it has been purchasing Bitcoin as part of its strategic reserve. In a similar vein, Rumble recently announced its plan to hold Bitcoin in its reserves, committing to purchase up to $20 million in BTC.

Rumble Cloud: A New Player in Cloud Computing

Rumble Cloud, which launched in March, is a relatively new player in the cloud computing sector. Pavlovski previously stated that Rumble’s disruptive pricing strategy aims to challenge the dominance of major tech companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft by offering neutral, affordable services.

The collaboration between El Salvador and Rumble marks an exciting chapter in the country’s technological and economic development, reinforcing its dedication to digital independence and innovation.
